When we had our project pitch with the tutors we had to explain where our idea had come from. Due to Sheffield being famous for Street Art we wanted to bring this into our design proposal, some of the artists we looked into were Pete McKee, Phlegm and Rocket01. Their artwork is scattered around Sheffield and we wanted to tie in Fitzalan Square to the rest of the city by incorporating similar street art on the buildings surrounding Fitzalan square.
The pitch went well as the tutors found our proposal very interesting and it helped because they bounced ideas off us and we managed to get more inspiration for our design proposal.
