IVANKA is a leading designer brand for concrete who is renowned for its expanding design’s, as well as technologies when it comes to concrete. Ivanka have been experimenting the uses for concrete and they are always stepping out of concretes boundaries as to what it can do and can not do.
Ivanka was founded by Katalin Ivanka and Andras Ivanka in 2002. Today they are worldwide within industries, the Budapest headquarters has evolved massively since then. Moments like Milan Design Week which allowed for them to get recognition gave the company the opportunity to show off what it has to offer.
They wanted to create a new perspective globally in sustainable development. This was by using concrete, this lead them onto their biggest hit which are Panels for exterior cladding and their Flaster tiles which help when wanting a personal arrangement.

LIBERTY OF LONDON 2011
Their one project was Liberty of London where they used their Flaster tiles for the Beauty Hall, these add a splash of colour to the whole interior. By being set into the wooden floor this allows for the Flaster tiles to blend in with everything else as well as having its own identity.
Flaster tiles by Ivanka are one of my favourite product of theirs, they can be used for so many decorative purposes. I love how they can be configured into your own design, as well as having a mix of colours. These are such a beautiful small detail which can help any interior space come to life.
After finding out that these are used in Liberty of London I decided to go and have a look, this would give me a primary resource as to what these Flaster tiles can look like as well as giving me inspiration further on in this module.

Along with Liberty of London they have also done Harvey Nichols in Birmingham, here they used their Trinity tiles, these are very similar to the Flaster tiles however they can have a more sophisticated visual yet also have the same puzzle and personal detail to their layout.
With this being in Birmingham it gives me yet another opportunity to have a primary look at these and get a more realistic visual of them. I love how they are so intricate in their layout yet very simple and stunning.
